The Sunshine Coast Schools’ Drama Festival is a True Celebration of Excellence in Drama Education.

The Festival runs throughout the entire day with students from the Sunshine Coast Region sharing their live theatre performances from all theatre styles on an assortment of topics.  Students and schools will showcase their extraordinary talents, as we recognise the Arts as a valuable commodity in the 21st century.

The Festival celebrates quality, innovation, raw and honest drama, where student devised work has a public platform for recognition beyond the school community.

Every year students from across the Coast, work towards a place on stage to really shine and share their love of theatre, with high quality, innovative, raw and honest drama that is born from our drama classrooms.

You never know, the next Hugh Jackman or Cate Blanchett may be discovered on the Playhouse stage, so come along and be impressed, surprised and totally entertained by the Coasts extraordinary young actors.

Welcome to the talented drama students live on stage in 2022!
