If in the unfortunate case that your performance is cancelled or rescheduled. Our box office staff will contact all ticket holders directly to organise the option to reschedule or offer a full refund.
There is no need to contact us directly, we will email or call or ticket holders.
If you have any questions regarding The Events Centre and the COVID-19 email our friendly team and we will endevour to find the answers. Because the information is changing each day and we ask for patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.
The physical Box Office is currently closed to the general public during normal business hours. It will be opening 2 hours prior to a performance for ticket purchase and collection. Where possible we encourage patrons to print at home or have their ticket available for viewing on a smart phone.
Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day or via phone 5491 4240 between Monday – Friday, 9-4. (Please note: $6 transaction fee applies to phone sales)

Due to COVID-19 and the requirements for social distancing within the theatre your seat allocation may change.
Due to COVID-19 regulations we need to ensure social distancing requirements are upheld and therefore The Event Centre staff will allocate your seat as close to your existing allocated seat as possible.
Print At Home tickets will emailed the week leading up to the event. If you do not have an email address, tickets will be available to collect from the Box Office on the day of the performance.
Yes. When purchasing tickets you will need to select your seat however allocation is subject to change depending on the COVID-19 regulations at the time of the performance. Some seating may change however The Events Centre staff will allocate your seat as close to your existing allocated seat. Where seats are reallocated, groups will remain together in all instances.
Box Office collection is the only delivery method available at the time of purchase due to the possibility of seating allocation changes. You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. One week prior to the performance, you will receive a pre-show email with conditions of entry and important ticket information
To ensure you are seated together, please ensure you purchase all the tickets in the same transaction. Group large than 6 people can contact the box office on 5491 4240 to make their booking.
To comply with the Industry COVID Safe Plan for Live Performance Venues/Theatres, as a condition of entry each ticket holder is required to register their details in the unlikely event contact tracing is to be undertaken. By purchasing tickets, patrons give permission for The Events Centre to share their contact information with the relevant health authority in the event of a COVID outbreak. The Events Centre will not share patron contact information with any third party other than the relevant health authority, and will not use the information for promotional purposes.
Promoters may no longer need the tickets that were contractually held when the performance originally went on sale. At times, tickets may become available closer to the event for public on sale.
To qualify for a concession ticket, customers must hold one of the following forms of identification; Pension card, Seniors card, Student card. Health care cards do not qualify.
Our COVID Venue Safe plan allows us to operate at 50% capacity with 1.5m distancing between social groups. Seating capacity is dependent on booking sizes but is roughly between 270-300 in the Kings Theatre.
