The Events Centre, Caloundra is the largest performing arts and conference venue on the Sunshine Coast, perfect for conferences and events which require a flexible venue with personalised event management.
The Centre offers multiple conference and plenary areas, meeting rooms, two theatres and versatile open spaces to accommodate small meetings through to large gala dinners for up to 400 people. The expansive flat floor space of the venue provides the ideal space for trade shows and exhibitions with a large foyer area for registration, an on-site catering team and in-house technical team.
The Kings Theatre is a large flexible space that caters to a wide variety of events from conferences, workshops and trade shows to performing arts events or gala dinners. Flat floor and tiered seating is available for performing arts events seating up to 820 people, or the room can be compacted or configured for conferences, workshops, gala dinners and school formals for 150 – 400 people. The large stage with proscenium arch is perfect for guest speakers, bands and shows with provision for stunning special effects and a flair for theatrical design, made possible through an in-house technical services department offering the best in sound, lighting and projection equipment. The walls between the Kings Theatre, Glasshouse Room and Reef Room can be opened to create a large space of 1432m².

The Playhouse Theatre offers an ideal space for plays, small concerts, school performances, dance concerts and intimate conference sessions. This space has fixed tiered seating for up to 300 people, has a state-of-the-art sound system and features a professional orchestra pit. The Events Centre also offers a unique experience of dining on the theatre stage. Enjoy an intimate night with everything catered for by our professional events team.

The Glasshouse offers an open, flexible space for corporate functions, large presentations, gala dinners and pre-show drinks and refreshments. Located next the Kings Theatre, The Glasshouse is the perfect area for pre-dinner drinks to accompany a gala dinner or as a trade show/exhibition area, as part of a conference being held in the Kings Theatre. Beautiful polished timber flooring, timber ceiling and natural light brings this space to life, along with a built-in bar, LED mood lighting and lighting/AV trusses. The theming possibilities are endless. The walls between The Glasshouse, Reef Room and Kings Theatre can be opened to create a large space of 1432m².
