Before a student takes their seat in the theatre, they need a seat on the bus
A trip to the theatre can spark curiosity, ignite creativity and create memories that last long after the curtain falls. At The Events Centre, Caloundra, we want more students to experience the power of live performance, but for many schools, the cost of bus travel is often the deciding factor. We believe great stories, big ideas and unforgettable experiences should be within every student’s reach. The School Bus Fund helps get students from the classroom to the theatre.
Help Make the Journey Possible
By making a small contribution, you’re helping schools cover transport costs and making arts experiences more accessible to young people across our region. Every dollar you donate goes directly towards helping students take their seat, discover something new and experience the wonder of live performance. Together, we can help open the door to memorable experiences that inspire creativity, broaden horizons and create lasting impact for students. Chipping in an extra dollar can help turn “maybe next time” into “we’re on our way!”
If you would like to donate or learn more about this Fund, email events@theeventscentre.com.au or call 07 5491 4240.
Please note: Contributions to the School Bus Fund are not tax deductible.
School Bus Fund Expression of Interest
The Events Centre Caloundra, located on the Sunshine Coast, acknowledge the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples as the custodians of the land we work on, recognising their connection to land, waters and community. We honour the story-telling and art-making at the heart of First Nations’ cultures, and the enrichment it gives to the lives of all Australians.
