Following from the success of last year’s National Bangarra Rekindling Youth Dance & Dhakkan/Mundagudda & Maroorchy Youth Songwriting & Music Development Workshops & Performance Programs, we are again proud to announce the 2025 amazing First Nations Youth again at The Events Centre, Caloundra. Gubbi Gubbi Tradional Owner Lyndon Davis also is working with youth, sharing traditional stories, songs & dances & also welcoming us all to Country.
Alister Bartholomew & Caleb Fitzpatrick will also be performing with a special launch of the new version of Aunty Jude Hammond “Mundagudda” Song (by GLVES, MOSS, Aunty Jude & Caleb Fitzpatrick) Videoclip by James Muller (Filmaker) & Aunty Jude (Director) with Gubbi Gubbi, Wakka Wakka, Butchella & Jinibara Traditional Dancers & Araya Hammond with her self-choreographed contemporary dancing. These performances & music video clip celebrates cross generational First Nations artists with pride, kinship, strength & role modelling sharing with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Youth as future leaders. Performances also celebrate reconciliation through cultural arts & inspires us all to respect our country and each other and learn together for our future.
