A safe and popular destination, the Sunshine Coast is located just one-hour north of Brisbane. A road trip is one of the best ways to experience the magnificent scenery and getting around the region is easy by road with your own vehicle or rental cars, buses and private transfers also available.
The Events Centre is located at 20 Minchinton Street, Caloundra. There is free car parking space available in the venue’s car undercover park (accessible via Nutley Street). Please note these car spaces are limited.
There is also on street parking available in the surrounding streets of The Events Centre. Wheelchair access is available via the front of the building from Minchinton Street.

Getting to The Events Centre via public transport is easy and efficient with bus stops conveniently located near the Centre. More information about planning your journey via public transport can be found on the TransLink website.
Avoid the stress of finding a park and enjoy a drink at the theatre. Consider catching a taxi or rideshare. Book a taxi on 131 008 or order a rideshare and get dropped off and picked up from the porte cochere at 20 Minchinton Street, Caloundra.
The Sunshine Coast Airport, conveniently located in the centre of the region and only 30 minutes’ drive from The Events Centre, offers regular domestic and international flight services, as well as seasonal services from Auckland. Brisbane Airport is also a domestic and international gateway to the region.
Shuttle services operate to and from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Airport, along with intrastate and interstate bus companies that service the region.
