The Events Centre (TEC) is committed to providing enriching, educational and entertaining performances for school students of all ages on the Sunshine Coast. Introducing children to the performing arts can increase creativity, boost self-esteem, improve mental health and develop empathy. If your school is interested in seeing one of our many productions to complement and amplify your students learning, group bookings can be made for groups of 10 people or more.
Making a school group booking is easy. You can place your reservation either by; our online portal here, or complete the Education Booking form below or contact our Box Office on (07) 5491 4240
Education Group Booking Process
1. Reserve your tickets
To reserve your booking online, use the education booking portal or visit the relevant event page and click on Education Bookings
To reserve your booking with a TEC staff member, complete the online form below or contact the Box Office on (07) 5491 4240 . Please allow up to 3 business days for your booking request to be processed by our staff.
2. Automatic Deposit Invoice will be issued
To secure your booking, TEC requires a 10% non-refundable deposit for education group bookings. The deposit invoice will be due within 14 days of issue. If the deposit payment is not received by the due date, we will unfortunately have to release your seats.
3. Final Payment
The final invoice is due 6 weeks prior to the performance and it will be issued once the 10% deposit is paid. All amendments to final numbers must be made by the due date. If the final payment is not received by the due date, we will unfortunately have to release your seats.
Please note, all education bookings made within 6 weeks of the performance date must be paid in full upon reservation request.
4. Prior to Show
Prior to your visit, we will send pre-show information via email to ensure a seamless experience
5. Enjoy the show
On arrival, tickets will be available for collection from the Box Office. We look forward to sharing these inspiring and engaging stories with your students live on our stage.
All education group bookings are subject to terms and conditions.
