The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular returns in 2026, bringing three outstanding Australian guitarists together for one night of exceptional acoustic music. Hosted by internationally recognised guitarist Michael Fix, the concert highlights the skill, precision and creativity that have made this series a favourite with Queensland audiences.

Joining him are Jason McGregor and Craig Claxton, two highly respected musicians with distinct styles. McGregor is a national fingerstyle champion known for his versatile musicianship and soulful vocal work. His performances have taken him across Australia and internationally, earning industry awards and a strong following. Claxton brings over 50 years of experience, shaped by blues, rock and jazz influences. He has performed with a long list of celebrated Australian artists and remains a sought-after guitarist, educator and session player.

Together, Fix, McGregor and Claxton present a diverse program that spans multiple styles and influences. The 2026 Acoustic Guitar Spectacular offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience three accomplished players share the stage, each bringing their own voice and musical history to this much-loved annual event.
