Brisbane-based comedian Emma Holland has built a reputation as one of Australia’s most original and quick-witted performers.
A visual artist turned stand-up, she’s sold out the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, taken Edinburgh Fringe by storm, and won Season 4 of Taskmaster Australia.
A familiar face on Have You Been Paying Attention? and Thank God You’re Here, Emma brings her brand new tour “The Dog Dies At The Start” to The Events Centre this July and she promises you’ll leave feeling good.
“I told my manager I wanted to write a show about dead dogs, and she said “oh god” but that’s not really my problem, it’s her job to market it. This show isn’t sad, you will leave feeling good. I promise. Thinking about asking my vet for a refund on the euthanasia just to see what happens.” Emma.
