The Events Centre has a Covid Safe Venue Guide in place to ensure the safety of our patrons when attending events at the venue. Make sure you familiarise yourself with the Covid Safe Guide and Conditions of Entry prior to attending an event.

Be entertained by the kaleidoscope of concerts, music, dance, plays and shows for all ages. The Events Centre, Caloundra is the Sunshine Coast’s premier performing arts and conference centre. Bring your event to life in our diverse conference spaces.

The Events Centre is one of the largest function centres on the Coast with dining, high tech staging and equipment for large and small dinners, awards nights, conferences, theatre and special events. The venue has two theatres and dining spaces for over 1,000 patrons.

COVID Terms and
Conditions

  • Tickets are issued via eTicket or Box Office collection. Tickets will no longer be mailed to minimise contact
  • If required, seating will be allocated by the venue based on the size of the group, time of booking and venue configuration, to allow compliance with current social distancing requirements
  • The venue reserves the right to change seating arrangements at any time, in line with Queensland Health updates and restrictions
  • If available, tickets purchased at the venue will be by contactless payment methods only
  • Patrons must comply with mask requirements from Queensland Health
  • Patrons must not attend if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever)
  • Patrons must stay in your allocated seat and minimise movement as much as possible
  • Patrons must not attend if they are sick, have been overseas or travelled to any COVID-19 hotspots
  • Patrons may be asked health screening questions on arrival to the venue and may be temperature checked
  • Patrons agree to abide by all social distancing and health protocols
  • Patrons agree to follow the instructions of venue staff at all times
  • If patrons do not comply with protocols, or authorised requests, they may be asked to leave immediately without refund or further recourse
  • Patrons acknowledge that while the venue has taken all reasonable health and safety precautions to keep the audience, staff and performers safe, patrons enter the venue at their own risk without recourse to claim against the venue regarding health outcomes
