Mirusia is coming to The Events Centre, Caloundra to celebrate Christmas with you in her special concert Merry and Bright!
Known as ‘The Angel of Australia’ – the name given to her by Andre Rieu as she toured the world with him and his Johann Strauss Orchestra – Mirusia continues to bring joy to people around the globe. She regularly tops the charts with her albums across several genres, her beautiful voice and artistry receiving praise from performers and audiences alike.
Mirusia has put together a special Christmas concert for The Events Centre, Caloundra including traditional Christmas carols and more favourites that she loves performing. She is bringing the 12-piece Silver Memories Orchestra and singers to deliver a show that you’ll love.
Mirusia is the Prima Ambassador for Silver Memories, a 24 hour a day nostalgia broadcast service for the aged. It is delivered by satellite to aged care homes across Australia.
You may have seen Mirusia earlier this year perform a beautiful duet in the spectacular Australia Day celebrations on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. It was a special highlight of the show as her voice floated across Sydney Harbour.
Hers is a special voice – she was the youngest recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award. Mirusia sings a wide variety of styles all with equal brilliance.
