TRACE THE LIFE AND CAREER OF MOZART…

With love, Amadeus shines the spotlight once more on one of classical music’s enduring heroes, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, in a thrilling fifth collaboration between two of Australia’s leading artists from theatre and classical music, John Bell AO OBE and Simon Tedeschi.

As Australian theatre legend John Bell traces the life and career of Mozart, reading extensively from his private letters along with comments by some of his contemporaries, extraordinary concert pianist Simon Tedeschi performs a soundtrack to the young composer’s life.

Experience a range of Mozart’s exhilarating music for piano, including some of his best-loved works such as his Fantasia in D minor (K.397), Twinkle Twinkle variations, and his Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish march).

“A fun night and impressive performance… entertaining and light-hearted, presenting the great Jazz Age through the lens of music and witty conversations.”
– CutCommon, 2020

“There were too many highlights to mention… a memorable event where two simple recital formats, spoken words from the stage and solo piano were presented in perfect harmony.”
– Classic Melbourne, 2018
